Senior donor sought

Thank you to John for my welcome to the group through the stop press page. I have started to build a new Senior. Well I have bought the timber, made the strong back and cut the transom. From small acorns! It will help me greatly if I was to find a Senior that was past viable repair but for whose owner, knowing that parts of their beloved boat would live on in a new hull, might ease their distress somewhat. It almost feels wrong to ask! I would always hope that a boat is restored and returned to the water. But I do know that this is sadly impossible in some instances. A centre boarder with gunter rig on a trailer would be my dream find. If you own, or know of such a boat please do let me know. I sail primarily from Cardiff Bay but actually live just south of Bristol and am happy to travel as required.
