Back issues - 1  2  3  4  5 Idle Duck John, I noticed that there is a reference to Idle Duck that was for sale last year. I bought her in January and she is now at Oare awaiting repairs at Alan Staleys yard at Faversham, for new coachroof and decks.  The hull is as good as the day she was launched in 1970.  I am not doing all the work myself as I promised my wife it would not be 'another' long project, and I am too old; I just want to go sailing. I attach an article by MG about her; he also wrote a chapter about her in his book "60 years a yacht Designer". I will send you progress; I am hoping to have her back on the water in August. I live next door to John Parry, [Tufnol Eventide]. Small world, isn't it.    I attach a copy of the YM article about her, Bob
